Description

UTI Zoomer Urine Test

The UTI Zoomer provides a complete assessment of the urinary system. Detects a broad spectrum of UTI-causing pathogens and antibiotic resistance genes, and evaluates key urinalysis markers, allowing for early identification of potential issues and supporting the development of targeted treatment strategies to improve patient outcomes. Analyzes 22 common UTI fungal and bacterial pathogens like Candida and E. coli, 17 urinalysis markers and 56 antibiotic resistance genes and includes antibiotic and supplement recommendations with a 48 hour turnaround time. This integrated approach provides a holistic view of the patient’s urinary system, aiding in accurate evaluation and effective management of urinary tract conditions.

Get Clarity on Your Symptoms

No more uncertainty. Discover whether your symptoms could be caused by common pathogens, rare pathogens, or multiple pathogens and understand how they impact your UTI.

Early Detection for Better Outcomes

Identifying infections early allows you and your healthcare provider to act quickly to prevent complications and reduce the risk of future infections.

Why is This Test Important?

  • Recurrent UTIs often lead to repeated antibiotic use without lasting relief. The UTI Zoomer identifies specific pathogens and resistance genes, guiding personalized treatment to improve outcomes and reduce unnecessary antibiotics.
  • Persistent urinary symptoms can be difficult to diagnose. This panel identifies common and rare pathogens, resistance genes, and provides a detailed urinalysis, offering insights for personalized treatment plans and lasting relief.
  • The panel detects multidrug-resistant organisms like Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa while assessing antibiotic resistance, ensuring targeted treatment. Early detection prevents ineffective therapies and reduces the risk of complications.
  • Patients with anatomical abnormalities or recent urinary procedures face a higher risk of complicated UTIs. This panel identifies pathogens such as Proteus mirabilis and Enterococcus faecalis, helping guide more effective treatment strategies for persistent infections.

Assesses gut microbiome health, which can impact urinary health by promoting systemic inflammation and contributing to recurrent urinary infections, especially in cases of gut dysbiosis.
Key Insights
Helps pinpoint the root cause of urinary tract infections, guiding treatment decisions for both infections and dysbiosis, while preventing antibiotic overuse.
Highlights gut imbalances that may contribute to systemic inflammation and recurrent UTIs, providing targeted interventions for gut health and overall microbiome balance.
What's Measured
Pathogens (e.g., E. coli, Candida), antibiotic resistance genes, and urinalysis markers (e.g., pH, ketones, nitrites, leukocytes).
Over 170 gut microbes, including bacteria, yeast, and parasites, as well as markers for inflammation, digestion, and gut metabolites.
